مشیگن: امریکی صدر جو بائیڈن ریاست مشیگن کے دورے کے موقع پر اچانک آٹو ورکرز کی ہڑتال میں پہنچ گئے اور ایمپلیفائر میں تقریر بھی کی۔
امریکی میڈیا رپورٹس کے مطابق امریکی صدر بائیڈن سابق صدر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ سے ایک روز پہلے ہی مشیگن پہنچ گئے ہیں، جہاں انھوں نے کاریں بنانے والے مزدوروں سے اظہار یکجہتی کیا۔ بی بی سی کے مطابق ہڑتال میں شرکت کر کے بائیڈن نے تاریخ رقم کر دی ہے، اس سے قبل کسی صدر نے کسی ہڑتال میں شرکت نہیں کی۔
صدر بائیڈن نے آٹو ورکرز کی 40 فی صد تنخواہ بڑھانے کے مطالبے کی حمایت کی، اور کہا کہ آٹو کمپنیوں کی حالت بہتر ہے، ورکرز کے معاملات بھی بہتر ہونے چاہیئں، وہ مراعات کے مستحق ہیں۔ تاہم ہڑتالی کارکنان نے سیاسی رہنماؤں کو ہڑتال سے دور رہنے کا کہا، کیوں کہ انھیں خدشہ تھا کہ سیاسی حریف ہڑتال کو سیاسی رنگ دے دیں گے۔
دوسری طرف ٹرمپ نے بائیڈن پر کڑی تنقید کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ انھوں نے پہلے مزدوروں سے روزگار چھینا اور اب ہمدردی جتا رہے ہیں۔ واضح رہے کہ سابق صدر ٹرمپ اپنی انتخابی مہم کے سلسلے میں مشیگن کا دورہ کل کریں گے۔
